Answered Prayers

   As some of you might know my job is slowly coming to an end and we have many things going on right now. You know one income makes things a little tigher soo, my husband... thinking ahead ...starts praying. Amen!  I have always heard mom say "watch what you pray for you might just get it".

 Well, not many days pass when he gets the call ...a friend of ours owns 2 car dearlerships, and needs a little painting done on the outside of the building, no problem...it is an answer to a prayer. So, he takes the job.

 You know, God really does have a sense of humor ...two months later we have painted ... the outside of one building, two showrooms, three towers, six offices, two bathrooms, two shelfing units, two bay areas the ceiling... oh, and each other!  Quess what, were still not done!!

  I am tired but, looking back at the prayer I prayed while working six days a week...Lord, I miss talking to my husband, I miss my family, I miss my house, I miss outside, I miss reading!!!  God not only answered Marvin's prayer...He also answered mine and our sons and his wife's, Praise God!! 

 For the past two months Marvin and I have been together almost every night " painting"...needless to say his ears hurt, haha !  I granmaw get to stay at home everyday with my precious grandson and he wants to read papaw's bible on the porch, ain't that funny!

 So many times we get in a hurry and frett to make things happen instead of  praying,waiting and listening to that still small voice. Mom also said , " God will not close one door without opening another".So, now everytime Marvin says,quess what... they want us to paint the .....I have to laugh.
